Our lawn work is the project side rather than a weekly mowing route: lawn replacement when a yard has gone to weeds and bare dirt, aeration and overseeding to thicken a thin lawn, spring and fall cleanups, and the repair work that follows a tree removal, a trench, or a dead patch. A recent Northglenn customer had us replace her entire lawn over two days. Irrigation is one of the services the company has done since the beginning. We repair broken heads, stuck valves, cracked lateral lines, and controllers that have lost their mind; rebuild systems that have failed; add zones when a landscape changes; and install new systems as part of a lawn or landscape project. Every spring we do startups and every fall we do blowouts, which on the Front Range is not optional: the first hard freeze in October splits any line still holding water. Earlier this year our crew rebuilt the irrigation system for a Northglenn family free of charge through the BBB’s Restoring Trust program after a contractor had taken their money and walked. Sod Installation

Sod is the fastest way from bare dirt to a finished lawn, and it is the natural follow on to a tree removal or stump grinding that left a hole in the yard. We remove the old turf or weeds, grade, amend the clay with compost where it needs it, set the sprinkler heads to the new grade, and lay Kentucky bluegrass or a bluegrass and fescue blend that handles Northglenn summers. New sod needs water every day for the first two weeks and we leave you the schedule. A full front yard is usually a one to two day job; a patch where a stump used to be can be added to the stump grinding quote. Spring and early fall are the best windows.
